RESOLUTION NO. 135-89
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
LEASE OF PROPERTY AND EXECUTION OF A NEW LEASE
BETWEEN FRIENDS OF WESTW IND. INC. AND
THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills has read and
considered that certain document entitled "Lease" between Friends of
Westwind, Inc. and Town, wherein the 1982 Lease previously entered into
between the parties would be terminated and the Town would enter into a
new Lease concerning the real property which it owns and on which is
situated the "Westwind Barn", together with paddocks, dressage ring, cross-
country jumping course and pump and housing,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED as
follows:
1. Public interest and convenience require the termination of the
earlier Lease and entering into of a new Lease for a portion of Town owned
property described therein to Friends of Westwind, Inc. for the uses
described therein.
2. The Town of Los Altos Hills shall enter into and the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they and each of them hereby is authorized and directed
on behalf of the Town, respectively, to execute and attest the document
entitled "Lease" between the Town of Los Altos Hills and Friends of
Westwind, Inc.
