A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE
OF A PUBLIC MEETING AT WHICH THE CITY COUNCIL WILL
CONSIDER ADOPTION OF A SCHEDULE OF CHARGES TO BE PAID
BY OWNERS OF RESIDENTIAL UNITS WITHIN THE ALTAMONT
ROAD STORM DRAIN BASIN
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los
Altos Hills , County of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, heretofore the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills
(herein called "the TOWN") entered into an agreement with Ruth & Going,
Inc. , to prepare a drainage capacity study for the Altamont Road Storm
Drain Basin (herein called the "Study") , and
WHEREAS, the Study together with appropriate maps describing
the drainage area and recommendations concerning proposed drainage
facilities and cost estimates therefor has been submitted to the Town;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to consider establishment
of a Schedule of Charges to be paid by the owner of each residential
unit on the properties within the Altamont Road Storm Drain Basin
(herein called "the Basin") who desires to construct, or to remodel
or enlarge a residential structure within the Basin; and
WHEREAS, the Schedule of Charges as proposed is designed to
establish a fund into which the estimated costs of the proposed storm
drain improvements and the final cost of the Study may be deposited
and expended only for these purposes ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows :

1. That the City Council hereby fixes as the time and place
for the Public Meeting at which the adoption of the above-described
Schedule of Charges within the Altamont Road Storn Drain Basin, will
be considered, and at which time the Council will receive written
presentations and hear oral presentations concerning this matter, the
hour of 7 :30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 1, 1985, Town Hall , 26379 Fremont
Avenue, Los Altos Hills, California.
2 . The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to cause
notice of said Public Meeting to be made by posting a Notice of Public
Meeting in at least three (3) public places in the Town not less than
(10) days prior to the date of the public meeting.
3. The City Clerk is further ordered and directed to give
Notice of said Public Meeting by first class mail to any person who
has filed a written request therefor with the City of the Town of
Los Altos Hills not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of
the public meeting.
4 . The City Clerk is further ordered and directed to make
available to the public, data indicating the amounts of the proposed
charges, the nature and estimated costs of the proposed storm drain
improvements and the final cost of the Study.
