A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE .CITY OF
THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DECREASING STATE SPEED
LIMITS ON CERTAIN STREETS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Los Altos Hills, County
of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4-3.1301 of the Los Altos Hills
Municipal Code andsubject to the complying with the requirements con-
tained therein, the City Council, by Resolution, may establish a prima
facie speed limit on certain streets,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED as follows:
1 . The City Council hereby determines upon the basis of an engineer-
ing and traffic investigation that the speed permitted by State law
outside business and residence districts as applicable upon the follow-
ing streets is greater than is reasonable or safe under the conditions
found to exist upon such streets, and it is hereby declared that the
prima facie speed limit shall be as set forth in this section on those
streets or parts of streets designated where signs are erected giving
notice thereof:
