RESOLUTION NO. 51-85
RESOLUTION APPROVING TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAP OF
TALLY HO SUBDIVISION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos
Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council having examined the proposed Tentative
Subdivision Map entitled
"TALLY HO SUBDIVISION being a resubdivision of Lot 1 and Lot 3,
as shown on that certain 'Parcel Map' recorded in. Book 507 of
Maps at Pages 50 thru 52 , S.C. County Records & Lying within
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS, CALIFORNIA"
herein referred to as the "Tentative Map" ; and
WHEREAS, the Tentative Map having been reviewed by any other
public agencies entitled to do so, and the recommendations of any such
public agencies having been considered by the City Council prior to
its taking action on the Tentative Map; and
WHEREAS, the City Council having conducted a hearing concerning
the Tentative Map and having considered the evidence presented at the
hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council having determined that the Tentative
Map is in conformity with the requirements of Chapter 4 entitled "Sub-
division" of Title 9 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code; and the
Subdivision Map Act of the State of California commencing at Section
66410 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council having read and considered the proposed
conditions of approval concerning the Tentative Map which have been
recommended by the Planning Commission,

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, ORDERED and DETERMINED as
follows :
1. The City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills
hereby approves the above-described Tentative Map subject to perfor-
mance of and compliance with each of the Conditions of Approval which
are set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, entitled "Conditions of •
Approval Tentative Map" , and which conditions are incorporated herein
by reference and made a part of this Resolution as though set forth
fully herein.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 15th day of May
198 5 .

CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
TENTATIVE MAP
TO: . Honorable Mayor and City Council Members

SUBJECT: Lands of Bellucci , Tally Ho Subdivision
Moody Road
APN 351-37-02 and 351-37-04
The Planning Commission at their meeting of April 24, 1985 recommended
approval of the subject Tentative Map with the following conditions:
1. LAND AND EASEMENT DEDICATIONS:
a. The owner shall dedicate all necessary easements for sewer and
water to the satisfaction of the Purissima Hills Water District
and the City Engineer.
b. Easement access to Moody Road shall be dedicated to the satisfac-
tion of the City Engineer.
2. FINAL SOILS AND GEOTECHNICAL REPORT:
a. Prior to any future development, the Town will require the appli-
cant to conduct a detailed geotechnical investigation of each
area of proposed development. This investigation shall address,
but not necessarily be limited to, the following:
i . Earth Materials - The ,engineering geologist should describe
the type and show the distribution of earth materials (i .e. ,
bedrock, colluvium, landslide deposits, artificial fill , etc. )
on an original geologic map and cross section(s).
ii . ' Flood Hazard Evaluation - The flood hazard potential of the
areas of proposed development should be evaluated and mitiga-
tion measures provided to reduce the flood hazards to accept-
• able levels.
iii . Slope Stability Analysis - The long-term stability of the
landslide deposits should be analyzed under both seismic and
aseismic conditions (if appropriate) . Mitigation measures
should be provided toensure the long-term stability of any
proposed development.

iv. Soil and Foundation Engineering - Geotechnical recommendations for
site preparation and grading, site drainage improvements, and design
parameters for foundations and retaining walls should be provided for
all proposed development.
The results of the geotechnical investigations shall be submitted to the Town
and reviewdd and approved by the City Engineer and Geologist prior to issuance
of site development and building permits.
3. PUBLIC UTILITIES:.

a. Parcel "B" residence shall be connected to the sanitary sewer. •
b. Parcel "B" septic tank shall be pumped and filled to the satisfaction
of the Environmental Health Department and the City Engineer.
c. The owner shall enter into an agreement with the Town to require connection
to the Purissima Hills Water District in the event that the County Health
Department determines the existing onsite water supply is no longer potable.
d. The owner shall enter into an agreement with the Town to require existing
septic. tank system for remainder of the subdivision can be utilized until
evidence of failure, at which time dwellings must be connected to sewer.
4. MISCELLANEOUS:

. a. The owner shall enter into a recorded agreement to construct storm drainage
improvements to Adobe Creek to increase the channel capacity to that of a
"10 year" storm to the satisfaction of the Santa Clara Valley Water District,
the City Attorney and the City Engineer. This agreement shall run with the

b. Any :channel modification must be approved by the Santa Clara Valley Water
District and Department of Fish and Game. • •
c. The owner shall enter into a recorded agreement to maintain and repair the
private fire hydrant and water main. The agreement shall be performed to
the satisfaction of the City Engineer and the Los Altos Fire District.
d. A note shall be recorded on the Parcel Map stating that additions to or
construction of habitable structures shall not be allowed below the elevation
of the 100 year flood.

e. The owner shall enter into an agreement with the Town to preserve redwood
trees not within the Conservation Easement, in excess of 30" in circumference.
