RESOLUTION NO. 80-85
RESOLUTION. OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON PROPOSED CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS TO. THE TEXT OF
CHAPTER 5 OF TITLE 9 OF THE LOS ALTOS HILLS MUNICIPAL
CODE ENTITLED "ZONING LAW OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS"
CONCERNING SITE DEVELOPMENT, AND RECOMMENDATION CONCERNING
A PROPOSED NEGATIVE DECLARATION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has studied and conducted
a public hearing concerning amendments to Chapter 5 of Title 9 of the
Los Altos Hills Municipal Code entitled "Zoning Law of the Town of
Los Altos Hills" consisting of the following:
1. To amend Article 2 commencing with Section 9-5. 201
entitled "Definitions,"
2. To add Article 9 commencing with Section 9-5. 901 entitled
"Site Development" and concerning Permits; Grading;. Drainage and Erosion
Control; Pathway Dedication, Maintenance, and Improvement; Building
Siting, View Protection, and Ridgeline Preservation; Design Review For
Height and Color; Landscaping; Recreational Courts, Outdoor Lighting;
and Driveways,
3. To amend Article 12 commencing with Section 9-5.1201 entitled
"Administration and Enforcement" concerning site Development Permits; !
and .
WHEREAS, there has been prepared and filed with the City Clerk
a proposed Negative Declaration following an initial study to determine
whether the proposedchanges and amendments may have a significant effect
on the environment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has submitted its report and
recommendations concerning the proposed amendments to the City Council.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows :
1. The City Council does hereby. set the hour of 7:.30
o' clock p.m. , on Wednesday, August 7 , 1985, in the Council Chambers,
Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California, as the
time and place for public hearing on the proposed changes and amend- . !
ments to the Town Zoning Law as required by 'the Los Altos Hills Muni-
cipal Code and the Government Code of California, and as the time and
place when it proposes to consider adoption of the Negative Declaration
described above.
2 . The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to cause
notice of the Public Hearing to be made by doing each of the follow-
ing things not less than ten (10) days prior to the date of the Public
Hearing, and as required by Sections 65090 to 65094 , inclusive of thel
Government Code of California, and the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code,;
to wit:
('a) Posting a Notice of Public Hearing in at least three
(3) public places in the City of. the Town .of Los Altos Hills..
(b) Giving Notice of said Public Hearing by first class
mail to any person who has filed a written request therefore with the ,
City of the Town of Los Altos Hills.
(c) Mailing .a copy of the Notice of the Preparation 'of the !
Negative Declaration to all organizations and individuals who have
previously requested such notice of the City of the Town of Los Altos
Hills.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 17th day of July, 19.85 .
