A RESOLUTION OF THE .CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS
HILLS APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR PURCHASE OF
PERSONAL PROPERTY, AND AUTHORIZING BIDS TO BE
RECEIVED FOR PURCHASE THEREOF
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los
Altos Hills , County- of Santa Clara, State of California, that .
WHEREAS, certain minimum specifications have been prepared
for the purchase of the hereinafter described personal property for
the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills (herein called the "TOWN") , -
and
WHEREAS, the public interest and necessity require the solici-
tation of bids for the purchase of the hereinafter described personal
property during the 1985-86 fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED as
follows:
1. That the specifications on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the Town are hereby approved for the following items of
_personal property:
One (1) Air Compressor; and
One (1) Vibratory Roller and. Trailer.
2 . The City Clerk of the City of the TOWN is hereby directed
to publish ,once in the PENINSULA TIMES TRIBUNE, a newspaper of
general circulation published nearest to the town, a notice inviting
sealed proposals or bids for the furnishing of the above described!
' personal property, which publication shall be at least ten (10) days
prior to the time fixed for opening bids .

3 . Said sealed proposals or bids shall be delivered to the
City Clerk of the town on or before 11: 00 o 'clock a.m. of the 31st
day of October, 1985, at the office of the City Clerk in the City '
Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, in said Town, said time being not less
than ten (10) days from the time of the publication of said notice.
Bids will be publicly opened, examined and the Council will take
action as to the above described items of personal property award-
ing the contract or rejecting all bids not later than Forty-Five
(45) days after theexpiration of the time herein prescribed for the
receipt of bids ; provided that the award for the purchase of the
above described items of personal property may made after the -
expiration of the specified time if the bidder shall not have given
to the Council notice in writing of the withdrawal of such bid or
proposal.
4 . The City Council of the Town hereby reserves the right to
reject any and all bids.
