RESOLUTION 153-85
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AS COMPLETED THE WORK FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE EDITH AVENUE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT.
AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT CONCERNING SUCH WORK,
AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
RESOLVED by the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council accepted as complete a
portion of the workunder the Contract hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer and Director of Public Works of the
City of the Town of Los Altos Hills (Herein called the "CITY") has,
in writing, made and filed in the Office of the City Clerk his notice
or certificate certifying that the balance of the work under contract
described as
"Edith Avenue Bridge Replacement at the intersection of
Edith Avenue and Adobe Creek"
has been completed in conformance with the Plans and Specifications
for said project, and has recommended that said work be accepted as
complete and satisfactory; and
WHEREAS, the balance of the work under the contract described
above the acceptance of which is being recommended consists of the
following:
The work associated with traffic control, installation of tubular
handrailing, joint seal, rock slope protection, striping and "D" pave-
ment marker, and construction of a chain link fence,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED by the City Council of the City of
the Town of Los .Altos Hills that the above-described work by and with
Tim Hilleary as mentioned in the -said notice or certificate of said
Director of Public Works, be and .the same is hereby accepted as complete
and the appropriate officer of. the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills
is authorized to make final payment concerning the above-described
work.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
authorized and directed to file with the County Recorder of the County
of Santa Clara, notice of the completion of said -project within ten (10)
days from the date of this Resolution.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 20th day of November, 1985.
