RESOLUTION NO. 157-85
RESOLUTIONOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN
OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND
RESULT OF A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON
NOVEMBER 5, 1985
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town. of Los
Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, by proceedings heretofore duly had and taken, a
Special Municipal Election wascalled and held in the City of the
Town of Los Altos Hills, (herein called the "TOWN") , on November 5,
1985, in accordance with law for the purpose of submitting 'to the
qualified voters thereof the proposed Initiative Ordinance hereinafter
described, and the votes thereat were received and canvassed, and the
returns thereof ascertained, determined and declared in all respects
as required by law,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
the Town of Los Altos Hills, as follows :
1. City Clerk of the town be and she is hereby instructed to
enter this Resolution on the Minutes of this Council as a statement
of the result of said election..
2 . The total number of ballots cast in. the City at said Special
Municipal Election was .2,585 ballots. NO ballots were spoiled and not
counted.
3. At said Special Municipal Election the following initiative
measure, namely, Measure E, was submitted to the electors of the City
and the number of votes given in the City for and against such measure
(including absentee votes) was as follows:

repealing Municipal Code. Sec 9-5. 7.03
(d) currently allowing Recreational
Facilities only with a Use Permit in
the. Residential Agricultural Zoning
District, be. approved?

5. All absent voter ballots have been duly received and can-
vassed in time, form and manner as required by law, and the result of
the absent vote for and against the measure submitted at said Special
Municipal Election is as set forth above.
6. More than a majority of all the votes cast at said Special
Municipal Election on Measure (E) were in opposition to said Measure,
and Measure (E) failed to pass ,
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 20th day of November, 1985 .
