RESOLUTION NO. 167-85
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN
OF LOS ALTOS HILLS. ORDERING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE TO THE PUBLIC
OF GIGLI COURT FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH ELENA ROAD
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of The Town of Los Altos
Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of The Town of Los Altos
Hills is authorized by Section 21100 of the Vehicle Code of California
to regulate traffic at the site of road or street construction; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of a potential traffic
hazard within the herein described portion of Gigli Court which is be-
ing improved in connection with the installation of subdivision improve-
ments in Tract No. 6763 , and as a result of such work; and,
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the City Council the temporary closure
of the herein described portion of Gigli Court is necessary for the
safety and protection of persons who use the portion of this street,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED as
follows :
1. The safety and protection of persons who use the herein describ-
ed portions of Gigli Court require the temporary closing thereof,
2. The following described portion of Gigli Court shall be, and
it hereby is , ordered to be closed temporarily to pedestrian, vehicular
or equestrian traffic commencing upon the adoption of the within Resolu-
tion and continuing until the City Manager shall have determined and
notified the Council that the potential traffic hazard has been elimi-
nated or corrected, to wit:

The entire length of Gigli Court from its intersection with Elena
Road to its termination.
3. The City of .The Town of Los Altos Hills shall cause to be posted
signs giving notice of the temporary closing at all entrances to the
herein described portion of Gigli Court.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 4th day of December, 1985.
