RESOLUTION NO. 168-85
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ORDERING AND CALLING A GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON APRIL 8 , 1986 , AND
PROVIDING FOR GIVING NOTICE THEREOF
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los
Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Government Code of the State of
California, the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills (herein called
the "TOWN" ) , a general law city, is required to hold an election
for the filling of certain offices; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 22830 of the Elections Code, the
City Clerk is required to publish a notice of this election,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, as follows :
1. A General Municipal Election shall be held in the City of
the Town of Los Altos Hills on Tuesday, April 8 , 1986 , for the
following officers :
Two (2) members of the City Council, each
to be elected for a term of four (4) years.
2. The polls shall be open between the hours of 7 : 00 o 'clock
A.M. and 8 : 00 o 'clock P.M. on the day of the election.
3. The City Clerk be and she hereby is authorized and directed
to publish a Notice of the General Municipal Election within the time
and in the manner specified in Government Code Section 22830 .

4 . The City Clerk be and she hereby is authorized to publish
all notices in the manner required by law, including the list of
nominees, election officers and polling places.
REGULARLY passed and adopted this 4th day of DECEMBER, 1985 .
