Per our discussion yesterday and with the Owner's approval, we are rescinding our request for a setback
variance at the garage eave.
During the siting of the house, one of our many concerns and constraints was to preserve the crepe myrtle tree
in the center of the property. Now that the story poles have been erected and we have a physical indication of
the house's location in relationship to the crepe myrtle's dripline, we are comfortable shifting the house toward
the south the necessary distance so that the garage eave is no longer in the rear setback. Per your instructions, I
have attached an updated site plan that reflects the house (and its eave) within the building area.
Please notify me immediately, if there is any additional information you require for tomorrow's planning
commission meeting.
