These comments refer to the land noted as Parcel A on the south side of the Nicholson property, which adjoins our property with a common East to West border. We understand that no specific architectural plans have yet been submitted for the construction of homes on the Nicholson property. A "conceptual footprint" for a 6763 sq. ft. home on Parcel A is shown on the development drawings. This proposal could result in a multi -storied home which, because of its height and location, would block our views of the valley and the mountains of the East Bay. It could also allow its residents to see into our home which has extensive use of glass. We would consider this a violation of our rights. Among various possibilities for development of Parcel A, we suggest a single storied home, sited so that its West side includes only the garage and any other buildings that would not have windows looking onto our property. This could minimize the loss of our views of the valley and mountains and also maintain our privacy. Lowering the level of the building site when-reriioving fill materials (suggested in Cotton, Shires & Associates, Inc. Geotechnical Peer Review, pg. 3, Staff Report to the Planning Commission) would also mitigate our concerns. We wish to have it noted, in all records pertaining to the development of this property, that we request that only plans for a single story structure which has no windows looking directly into our home and which has a lowered building site, be recognized by the Planning Commission, the Los Altos Hill Council and other relevant commissions. Thank you, rely, !su on d and Janet Lull
