As an owner of a property, I do respect the right to develop and build a dream home on a property.
However, the proposed new 25,273 sq. ft. estate home and a 7,200 sq. ft. tennis court on the property
has tremendous impact on the environment and the neighborhood that requires careful planning so
that the impact on the environment and neighborhood can be mitigated and allow the new home to fit
in nicely to the environment and with the entire neighborhood.
My concerns are:
1) With plenty of acreage, why can't the proposed home be built at a location that is far away from
the neighbors unless limited by the Mother Nature to provide space and privacy with the
neighbors?
2) The proposed home location and the height of the house allow someone to overlook at our back
yard and probably into our bed room. How our privacy can be protected without losing the
views to the bay.
3) The proposed driveway is pretty close to the property line. How are they going to prevent the
automobile light from beaming toward our rooms at night?
4) The proposed tennis court is so close to the property line, our back yard and our house.
a. How are they going to mitigate the noise created by tennis ball striking that will affect
the tranquility of our living?
b. How are they going to prevent the tennis ball from entering into our back yard or
breaking our windows?
c. How are they going to mitigate the impact of the fence that may block our views to the
bay?
