RESOLUTION NO. 98-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF
LOS ALTOS HILLS AUTHORIZING PERFORMANCE OF VOLUNTARY SERVICE
BY PERSONS WITHOUT PAY
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos
Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the City _Council desires to authorize the performance of
voluntary service without compensation by 'persons desiring to do so as
herein described in order to comply with the provisions of Section
3363 . 5 of the Labor Code of California,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND DETERMINED as follows:
1. The City Council hereby authorizes and designates persons who
are members of the Los Altos Hills Horsemen' s Association to perform
voluntary service without pay for the City of the Town of Los Altos
Hills in 'connection with the maintenance of Town pathways .
2 . That each such person shall be deemed to be an employee of
the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills for the purposes of the Workers
Compensation Law pursuant to Section 3363 . 5 of the Labor Code of
California. •
REGULARLY passed and adopted th` 5.4.h day of December, 1984 .
