Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission of the Town of Los
'os Hills was called to order by Vice -Chairman Gordon E. Bowler

commended".
ACTION: Adopt Minutes of Dec. 7, 1961 as correctea
December 16. 1961.
ACTION: Adopt Minutes of Dec. 16, 1961 as submitted,

to meeting on 'l anning to be held Feb. , 1962 atm M. at
Jovington School.
Commissioners Garbett and Mellquist indicated that they will at -
pend the meeting.
'),L_ BUSINESS:
Road Standards.
Commissioner .`.lter reopened the discussion on Road Standards,
relative to letter from Fire Chief Richard E. Bassett, dated
Sec. 29, 1961, regarding the specifications for private road
Ftandards.
RECOMMEND;,TI ON :
That the Ro-d Standards be forwarded to the Council; that
clarification be made on the Road Standards for private
roads showing the two ft. (2') shoulders as being composed
of six in. (6") of untreated base rock compacted 95%, and
that the City Engineer be instructed to show this clarifi-
cation on the Road Standard Flan, dated Aug. 16, 1961
(Job 57).
MOTION: Hawley; SECOND: Hibner; VOTE: Passed unanimously

1. Planning Committee Meeting will be held Tuesday, January 16, 1962
at 8:00 r. M. at the Town Hall to discuss cul de sacs, completion
of Flan Lines on Master Ilan, and 'High Level ^sea' Standards..
The Manning Consultant, Nestor Borrott, and Fire Chief 7.a_s3att
will attend the meeting.
DIVISIONS OF LAND:
Robleda Hills Unit No__2 20 -61) 1 lots° Engr. C. Coburu,
Tentative Map was presented by the Developer showing an additions
lot created by purchase of land from an adjoining property owner..
RECCMMENDITICN:
That the Revised Tentative Map of Robleda Hills Unit N:,, 2
(209-61) 15 lots, dated December 19, 1961, be approved
subject to the conditions of the Check List.
MOTION: Mellquist; SECOND: Garbett; VOTE: Passed unanimousl
2. Saks Jean (212-61) 5 lots. Engr. E. H. Smith.
Following discussion, the Engineer was asked to submit a revised
map, indicating location of houses on lots 1, 2, & 3, of which
lots 2 & 3 are substandard in dimension, and proposed plan for
road to serve the subdivision.
ACTION:
That the Tentative Map of Jean Saks (212-61) 5 lots be
considered only as Preliminary Discussion at this time, and
that a revised map be resubmitted by the Subdivider.
MOTION: Mellquist; SECOND: Alter; VOTE: Passed unanimously
NEW BUSINESS:

Chairman Lawler mentioned that one of the residents had complained
abri,.t the exessive speed on the Road.
Iter was referred to Chief of Felice Chief.
