Bowler Saturday, January 20, 1962 at 8:40 A, M. at the Town Hall., 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos ''i.ills. ROLI�CALL: IRESENT: Commissioners .liter, Bowler, Garbett, Hibner, Mellquist arrived 8:44 A. Commissioner Alter, Chair -n of the Flanning Committee, reported that a joint meeting of the Council and Planning Com-ission was held Sled., Jan. 14, 1962, at which the use of planters for the center of cul de sac circles was recommended. The Flanning Cor mission agreedto have the Engineer present a tentative design for cul de sacs using planters to be used as a standard T•lan. 2. Cory of letter from Carl Ielseri_County Planning Director - Letter, forwarded by Nestor Barrett, reported that the County Subdivisi:n Ordinance wi-tl be revised, r. P requested suggestions from Cities. Chairman Frentice arrived and took the Chair. OLD BUSINESS: 1. Finkenstaedt R. L. (V-57-60) - Request for Reduction of Setback Requirement.At the request of Mr. Colin Peters, Counsel for Mr. Finkenstaedt, the matter was deferred to the meeting of February 1, 1962. -2- %E 2_ pE, BUSINESS: Peterson. RECOMMENDATION: That the Tentative Map of Dr. James Cross be approved, sub- ject to the conditions of the Check List, provided that the Council has accepted the Fernhill Road Improvement Plan. Jones, and Mr. Alton Spink, owners of properties abutting the 3mi.*h nropertS,, wore present and stated objections to the subdivision relative to their re- spective properties. RECOM'5ENDr,TION: That the Ilanninc Commission basically agrees that lots 1, 2, and 7 can be approved as they now stand, pro- vided the balance of the subdivision is subsequently completed..
