Bowler Saturday, April 21, 1962 at 8:50 A. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Rd., I:os .".ltos Hills. City Manager - Letter of April 16, 1962 requested the Planning Com- mission to forward comments relative to Equestrian Trails and recom- mendation as to amending the Master Plan to include Equestrian Trails. Referred to the end of the meeting. MINUTES: April 5, 1962. Correction: Page 3, Summit Woods: Last statement should read: "The requirement was amended toread, that the road be constructed of six inch (6") compacted base rock and two (2) seal coats of oil and screen- ing." ACTION: Adopt Minutes of April 5, 1962 as corrected. MOTION: Alter; SECOND: Hibner; VOTE: Passed unanimously COMMITTEE REPORTS: 1. Fath Flan - Commissioner Garbett reported that he had not met with FF-77aart . VARIANCES: 1. Carmichael A11en C. (V-106-62) - Request for Permission to Install ntrance-ate. to olonia states Subdivision. RECOMMENDATION: That the request of All,, C. Carmichael (V-106-62) to install entrance gates to Colonial Estates Subdivision, as shown on %, plan submitted, be approved. MOTION: Hibner; SECOND: Alter; VOTE: Passed unanimously -2- ` 2. Hill, John C. (10'7-62) - Request for Reduction of Setback Requirement tor Det atched Garage. RECOMMEND -'.TION: That the request of John C. Hill (V-107-62) for reduction of setback requirement to construct a detached garage be granted, with the suggestion that the garage be sheltered by planting on the street side of the property. MOTION: Frentice; SECOND: Hibner; VOTE: Passed unanimously USE PERMITS 1. Brubaker Lester (UP -105-62) - Request for Approval of Bui].dinr Sita. RECOMMEi-D ,TION: That, in view of the Health Department's letter and its proposal stated in letter, dated April 2, 1962, the Revised Tentative Map C-102 of March, 1962, of Hilmar Nelson (211-61) 4 lots be ap- proved, subject to the requirements of the former Check List for the four (4) lot subdivision. MOTION: Alter; SECOND: Prentice; VOTE: Passed unanimously 63. McClain Elizabeth C. (224-62) 2 lots. Engr. J. Riley. Following discussion of paths, it was decided that Chairman Bowler report to the Ceuncil that the Planning Commission will ororose an Amendment to the Plaster Flan to include Eouestrion Trails and Fedos- train Paths and will hold the required public hearings.
