Bowler Thursday, May Hills Calif. at 7:50 F. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 F ' ROLL C9LL: PRESENT: Chaimissioners rman Bowler,t Commissioner Prenter, Garbett, ice arrived at 7:55 F. M. ABSENT: Commissioner Mellquist MINUTES: April 21, 1962. ACTION: Adopt Minutes of April 21, 1962 as submitted. MOTION: Garbett; SECOND: Alter; VOTE: Fassed unanimously COMMUNICATIONS: 1. Fremont Hills Country Club - Letter, dated May 3, 1962, relating to intended service o£ alcoholic beverages, and request for approval of application for licence, was deferred to t'.ze end of the meeting. COMMITTEE REPORTS: 1. Equestrian Trails. Commissioner Garbett. Deferred to end of the meeting. NL�.d BUSINESS: 1. For ountry Day. School - Request for removal of Limitation of pupil enrollment. Mr. Ford John C. Ford was present and answered questions relative to present enrollment and the anticipated encrease. Chairman Bowler requested that the Building Inspector post the prop- erty; residents in the vicinity the 8school be notified discuss the mat- lic hearing to be held on May 19,at ter of removing limitation of enrollment. VARIANCES: 1. Krause Marian (V-102-62) - Request for Reduction of Setback Require- ment for onstruction o£ Residence. RECCMMEND�.TION: That the request of Marian Krause (V-102-62) for reduction of setback requirement not be allowed.. MOTION: Alter; SECOND: Hawley; VOTE: Fassed unanimously -2- 0. MOTION: Alter; SECOND: Hawley; VOTE: Passed unanimously 3. Goodman J. R. (108-62) - Request for Reduction in Setback Require- ment £or Construction of Residence. RECOMMENDATION: That the variance requested by J. R. Goodman (V-108-62) be allowed. MOTION: Prentice; SECOND: Garbett; VOTE: Passed unanimously DIVISIONS OF LAND: The following two items items were postponed, at the request of represent- atives of the subdividers, to June 7, 1962. McNeil, Bruce (225-62)_3 lots. Engrs. Frahm, Maykel & Edler. Bowan, R. A. (214-62) 2 lots. Engr. J. Riley. 1. Chatlien Donald G. (226-62) 2 lots. Engr. B. Plehn. The Check List was completed by the Chairman. RECOMMEND;.TION: That the Tentative Map of Donald G. Chatlien (226-62) 2 lots be approved, subject to the conditions of the Check List. NOT=': Prentice; SECOND: Hawley; VOTE: Passed unanimously 2. Munson, Theodore (227-62)..2 lots. Engr. M. Wolff. Revised Map was presented by Mr. '-Wolff, and explained in detail re- lative to the proposed acquisition of a portion of land from Mr. S. Andriano, The question of the adequacy of water supply for serving an additional building site was discussed. The suggestion was made that the Sub- divider withdraw the from Robleda Water Assn. and annex to the Pur- issima County Water District. Chairman Bowler was asked to mention the water problem to the Council at the time the Tentative Map is on the Council's agenda. f Check List was completed by the Chairman. Commissioner Hgwley stated that he would abstain from voting. MOTIMT: Prentice; E ----OND: Garbett; VOTE: AYES: Alter, Garbett, Hibner, Prentice, Chairman Bowler NOES: None .ABSTAINTED: Hawley AB3ENT: None OTHER BUSINESS: 1. Equestrian Trails. Commissioner Garbett submitted report, recommending that a number of zones bo est bl_.shed in the Town in which residents could meet and discuss locations for trails. The report was referred to the Staff. Following discussion, the Commission concurred that the General Flan should not be amended to include Equestrian Trails and Pedestrian Paths, but that a Master Trail Flan should be adopted. The suggestion was made that Mr. David McKensie, editor of the Town Crier, be contacted and asl-:ed to rive some publicity to the natter of establishing Equestrian Trails. 2. Fremont Hills Country Club - Request for Approval of Arplication for Alcoholic Boverage License. RECOMMEt" D ,TION : That a Use T'ermit be granted for the sale of alcoholic Lever- ages to bona fide quests and bona fide merbers and noting that it is not intended that this mr— be used for open or c_. lic u^e.
