Chairman Bowler commented on the wording of motions, suggest-
ing that they be worded in a manner to prevent misre�.d ing. He
cited the Council's Action on the Richard Harding variance.

1. Commissioner Hibner announced that the Committee for the Green Toot -
hills will hold a meeting Thursday, May 24, 1962 at 8:00 T. '^. at
the Town Hall; that the Tlanning Commission and Council are i-vited
to attend. Future zoning of the foothills and higher areas will be
discussed.
the suggestion was made that a meeting be arranged -pith the Palo :',lto
Planning Commission and Mr. L. Foureroy, Danner, to discuss the
Luckman Flan.

1 Ford Country Day School - Request for Removal of Restriction of En-
rollment of Pupils.
The Deputy Clerk reported that the property had been posted; that
residents in the area had been notified, b- mail, of the proposed
change.
Mr. John C. Ford reported on the pupil capacity allowed unser the
provisi;ns of the Uniform Building Code and relative to existing
sanitary facilities. He stated that, under these provisions, about
250 pupils would be allowed, but that he has no clans to increase
the enrollment, but wished to have the arbitrary figure of 160 pupils
_emeved.

That the request of Mr. John C. Ford, for removal sf the 160
pupil enrollment limitation for the Ford Country Day School,
andthat the limitation of enrollment be 250 Pupils.

2. -+-questrian Trails - Establishment of Zones.
Chairman Boiler gave a resume of discussion and action by the City
Cou:ci 1.
Coam:issioner Garbett submitted a report, setting b^.undaries o£ zones
vithin the Town for the establishmont of equestrian trails.
ACTION:
Thi }t the zones, as submitted; and corrected by the Town Staff, be
approved and submitted to the City Council for adoption.

Hills Development Co. - Trec Planting & Maintenance.
Lott -r, of Lpril 17, 1962, from Fremont Hills Development Company,
raqucsted that, in lieu of planting in Unit No. 6 and continued
maintenance of planting in Unit No. 5, the Town accept the sum of
Twenty -Six Hundred Dollars (9;2600.00).
REC011NENTD':TI ON :
That the proposal of the Fremont Hills Development Company to
pay the Town the sum of Twenty -Six Hundred Dollars (2600.00)
in lieu of planting of Unit 'To. 6 and maintcnznce of planting
in Unit No. 5, be accepted.

AMEP'DMENT: That the City Manager be directed to execute the
planting of Unit No. 6 and completing maintenance of Unit No. 5.
