Alter Thursday, September 6, 1962 at 7:45 F. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. ROLE CALL: PRESENT: Commissioners Garbett, Hawley, Mellquist, Vice - Chairman Alter. ABSENT: Com-sissions Hibner, Prentice, Chairman Bowler APPROVAL OF MINUTES: August 18, 1962. ACTION: .Adopt Minutes of Aug. 18, 1962 as sub- mitted. COnIuNI C ATI ONS : 1. John N. Riley - LettQr requested the Commission to reconsider the Alan Cranston subdivision. ACTION: That the Tentative Map of Alan Cranston, 3 lots, be placed at the end of the Agenda. ITOTIOT-: Garbett; SECOND: Mellquist; VOTE: Passed unanimously COMMITTEE REPORTS: It was announced that the Council accepted the District Zone IIap for the Town's Master Fath Plan, and that it was returned to the Planning Commis- sion for public hearings. The Deputy Clerk was instructed to glace the matter on the next agenda to determine the date for public hearings. OID BUSINESS: 1. Page Mill Estates (231-62) 52 lots. Engrs. James J. Breen & Associates. RECOMMENDATION: That the Revised Tentative Map of Page Mill Estates (231-62) 52 lots be approved, subject to the conditions of the Check List and the dedication, by Grant Deed, to the Town thirty-five feet (35') of Matadero Creek, plus a fifteen foot (15') access easement along the side of Matadero Creek, and that portion of the property east of Page Mill Road; also, that all utilities be placed underground. MOTIOTT.: Alter; SECOND: Garbett; VOTE: Passed unanimously -2 - NEW BIISINESS: None. VIANCES 1. Ferrari, Charles (V-117-62) - Request for Reduction of Setback Re- quirements. RFCON?,MTTDATI ON : That the request of Charles Ferrari (V-117-62) for a fifteen foot (15') reduction of the setback requirement on the west side lot line be approved, but that the request for six foot (6') re- duction on the north lot line be disapproved. MOTION: Hawley; SECOND: Mell^,uist; VOTE: Passed unanimously DIVISIONS OF I;ND: 1. Byrd, Oliver E. (234-62) 4 lots. Fngrs. Mastin & Kingston. RECOMMENDATION: That the Revised Tentative Map of Dr. Oliver E. Byrd (234-62) 4 lots be approved, subject to the provisions of the Check List. MOTION: Hawley; SECOPID: Mellquist; VOTE: Passed unanimously 2. McNeil, Bruce (225-62) 2 lots. Engr. Frahm, Maykel & Edler. RECOMNK.-TATION: That the Revised Tentative Map of Bruce McNeil (225-62) 2 lots be approved, subject to the conditions of the Check List, and that the subdivision be served by the Furissima Hills County Water District. MOTION: Alter; SECOND: Garbett; VOTE: Passed unanimously 3. Peterson, Stanley (241-62) 2 lots, Engr. K. F. Ho. RBUU1'ICIh_NllA'1'1UB : That the Tentative Map of Stanley Peterson (241-62)2 lots be approved, subject to the conditions of the Check List. MOTION: Hawley; SECOND: Mellquist; VOTE: Passed unanimously 4. Ferris, Wm. (239-62) 3 lots. Engr. John W. Riley. With the approval of Mr. Riley, the recommendation on the Map was tabled until the meeting of September 15, 1962. ss Fretz-Ciceroni (240-62) 6 lots. Engr. John 'd. Riley. RECOMMEND ATI OF: That the Tentative Map of Fretz-Ciceroni (240-62) 6 lots.be approved, subject to the conditions of the Check List. MOTION: Hawley; SECOND: Mellquist; VOTE: Passed unanimously 6. Cranston, Alan (236-62) 3 lots. Engr. John W. Riley. 1 Mr. Riley was asked to redraw the Map showing only one (1) sub -standard lot. The Map will be an item of the Agenda for the meeting of wept. 15, 1962. MEETI7G ADJOURNED: 9:40 P. M. NEXT REGULAR MEETING: Saturday, September 15, 1962 at 8:30 A. M. at the Town Hall.
