its orinion, suggestions, and. criticism. After comncnts have
boon received fro -a the Council, that the Flanning Com ission
hold o Fublic Hearing on the "Guidelines" which will be finally
annroved.

Commissioner Mellquist requested that the Council inform the FLnnir-
Co,=ission of the status of the path along that portion of E1 ::onte
Road to be reconstructed by the County and State.
Chairran Boa'er directed that the attached Memo be a pert of the record.
"Los f-_ltos Hills is a one -zone residential area. However, the
Master Ilan has provided a generous allowance of land for educa-
tional, religious, and recreational purposes. This allocation
hes beer_ exhausted. ,-a use per -its for such nurposes -ave been
approved since 1961 and none will be approved contrary to the
Master Flan.
In view of the above facts, which have been extensively publicized,
it would be appreciated by the Flannina Commission if organiza-
tions would refrain frore purchasing Land in the Town with the in-
tent of requesting per -u ssion for non-residential use."
